Pfizer Volunteers Deliver Joy through Holiday Wish Project
December 15, 2025

Holiday cheer was in the air at AgeSpan’s Lawrence headquarters, as employees from Pfizer delivered hundreds of gifts for older adults and their families. For more than a decade, the Holiday Wish List Project has been providing gifts for those who might otherwise be forgotten during the holidays.

This year, 145 older adults and children in the Merrimack Valley and North Shore received hundreds of gifts through the program. Recipients included AgeSpan consumers and grandparents raising grandchildren. AgeSpan staff provided the wish lists and generous Pfizer employees donated their own time and money to shop for and wrap personalized gifts. Pfizer volunteers delivered the gifts to AgeSpan offices, where staff sorted and distributed them.

The Holiday Wish Project began 11 years ago as a small effort and has become a meaningful tradition, thanks to the leadership of Karen Eaton, who recently retired from AgeSpan, but returned this year to coordinate. AgeSpan Community Relations-Development Manager Bonnie Sisson, Pfizer Quality Control Scientist Jamie Perkins, and many volunteers also gave their time to bring comfort and joy to others during the holiday season.
