Public hearing notice

As required by the Older Americans Act of 1965, Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore will hold a public hearing for interested parties to solicit input on the agency’s proposed 2022-2025 Area Plan. The area plan includes prioritization of needs and strategies to develop a comprehensive and coordinated network of services for older adults and their caregivers.

As an Area Agency on Aging/Aging Services Access Point, Elder Services is responsible, through federal government funding, for the planning and coordination of services for older adults 60+ years of age living within the following communities: Amesbury, Andover, Billerica, Boxford, Chelmsford, Danvers, Dracut, Dunstable, Georgetown, Groveland, Haverhill, Lawrence, Lowell, Marblehead, Merrimac, Methuen, Middleton, Newbury, Newburyport, North Andover, Peabody, Rowley, Salisbury, Salem, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro, Westford, West Newbury.

The public hearing will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 9 to 10  a.m.
