AgeSpan Maintains National Accreditation Status for Care Management
December 6, 2023
LAWRENCE – AgeSpan is proud to announce its 3-year accreditation for Case Management for Long Term Services and Supports from the National Committee for Quality Assurance for our Home Care Program.

NCQA awards the status of Accredited–3 years to organizations that demonstrate strong performance of the functions outlined in the standards for Case Management accreditation. AgeSpan has maintained this accreditation since 2017.

“I want to thank our Quality Team and all the employees whose excellent work has resulted in our agency maintaining NCQA Accreditation for nine years,” said AgeSpan CEO Joan Hatem-Roy. “For individuals and families, the accreditation ensures that they are at the center of everything we do and that we maintain high-quality services.”

Our state-funded Home Care program is one of the agency’s largest programs and serves 5,000 people monthly. This accreditation status demonstrates AgeSpan’s commitment to coordinating the delivery of care in a person-centered and integrated manner to help individuals live well in their preferred setting.

NCQA Accreditation standards are purposely set high to encourage organizations to continuously enhance their quality. The standards are intended to help organizations achieve the highest level of performance possible and create an environment of continuous improvement.
