Low Income/Subsidized Rental Housing

Housing programs that make rental housing more readily available to homeless people and/or low-income individuals and families (those below 50% of the area’s median income). Some complexes or housing units may be reserved for low-income older adults, people with disabilities and/or other special populations.

    This Congregate Living site houses 8 individuals. Each unit has a private bedroom and half bathroom (toilet and sink); 2 shared shower rooms (2 handicapped accessible showers).     Delaney Terrace is located at 8 Sheila Avenue in North Chelmsford. It has 47 one-bedroom units and 1 four-bedroom transitional congregate unit for 4 residents.   • Red Pine Terrace

    The Tyngsborough Housing Authority manages Red Pine Terrace which includes 31 one bedroom and 1 two bedroom handicapped units for elderly and non-elderly residents and 18 family units of which 2 are handicapped accessible. They also have a 4 bedroom congregate unit.

  • McFarlin Manor

    McFarlin Manor is located at 10 Wilson Street. It has 50 one-bedroom units and 1 four-bedroom transitional congregate apartment. The congregate site houses four residents, both males and females. Clustered homemaking services are offered via a partnership with AgeSpan. This property is managed by the Chelmsford Housing Authority.

  • O’Connor Heights Congregate

    This Congregate Living site houses 10 individuals. It is a 10 private bedroom unit offering 4 handicap accessible shared bathrooms. Monthly social/recreational activities are available to residents. A meal plan is available.
