Programs that offer information and guidance for people who need assistance in selecting appropriate health insurance coverage and which may also answer questions about health insurance benefits and help people complete insurance forms.
The Lawrence Council on Aging provides assistance to older adults in a variety of areas, including congregate meals, and will make referrals to other agencies and programs as needed. Outreach staff may assist with housing, citizenship, social security, transitional assistance, brown bag program, bill paying, food pantries, translation, and other needed services.
