Billerica Council On Aging

The Billerica Council on Aging provides a variety of programs to support the physical, social and emotional needs of their patrons. The BCOA has an Outreach department to offer information and resources to inform seniors of the programs and services offered through the BCOA and other agencies.

Other programs include, but are not limited to, a monthly men’s group, health clinics, health insurance counseling with the SHINE program, Meals on Wheels, exercise classes, lectures, and other activities and events.

The COA offers a caregiver support group the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at the BCOA, and a Memory Café for individuals with memory loss the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. at the Billerica Public Library.

The BCOA Companion Program provides companionship and supervisory care in the home. Companions can prepare snacks and light meals, provide socialization, and engage clients in activities they enjoy. Companions can also transport clients to appointments and for errands.
