AgeSpan Wants Your Feedback On Our Next Area Plan
As the federally designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serving residents of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore, AgeSpan seeks feedback from older adults and the broader community on the needs of individuals aged 60 and older, as well as their caregivers.
As an AAA, AgeSpan works to increase awareness among agencies, organizations, community groups, and the public about the needs of older adults. We also strive to educate older adults and their caregivers about the services and benefits available to support them. Our mission is to address the needs of all older adults and family caregivers in our region, with particular focus on reaching and prioritizing services for:
- Older adults who live alone (isolated)
- Low-income older adults
- Minority older adults
- Socially isolated populations, including those with limited English proficiency and LGBTQIA+ older adults
Every four years, AgeSpan conducts a comprehensive needs assessment to better understand the challenges facing older adults and caregivers in our area. Based on this assessment, we develop an Area Plan that outlines our goals, strategies, and performance measures for meeting these needs.
We invite you to review the Executive Summary and the Goals, Objectives, Strategies, and Performance Measures of our proposed FY2026–2029 Area Plan by Monday, July 7th.
To provide feedback, please email Martha Leen at mleen@agespan.org
Your input plays a vital role in shaping a final plan that reflects the voices and needs of older adults throughout our service area.
Thank you for helping us serve our community better!
