YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts Domestic Violence Program

This program offers emergency services including crisis intervention, advocacy, safety planning, emergency food and transportation, and referral to shelter; legal advocacy (assistance with temporary restraining order, etc.); transitional housing (OASIS) consisting of nine apartment units for families and The Residence consisting of 10 single room occupancy housing; housing advocacy; teen dating violence project; and immigrant advocacy. Other services include Nina’s Project that provides training to medical providers and on-call assistance to medical institutions and their patients who are victims of domestic violence; and children’s services that provides technical assistance and collaborative support to Holy Family Hospital’s Family Violence Intervention Program that offers clinical services to children who have witnessed or experienced violence.
