Trauma Intervention Program of Merrimack Valley, Inc.
The Trauma Intervention Program, TIP, is a group of specially trained citizen volunteers who are called by police officers, fire fighters and hospital personnel to provide emotional and practical support to victims and their families following a traumatic event. They arrange for shelter, food, clothing and transportation; serve as a liaison between the victims and emergency authorities; help arrange follow-up service; and provide information and referral to appropriate agencies for ongoing assistance.
They have an Adult Foster Care (AFC) program available through their services.
