Salem Housing Authority

The Salem Housing Authority owns and manages 715 units of state and federally funded elderly, family, and handicapped public housing. These units are located at 22 sites throughout the City including: Leefort Terrace (50 units), Bertram Terrace – Summit & Willow Avenue (20 units), Colonial Terrace – Boston and Nichols Street (40 units), Bates Terrace – Dunlap Street (16 units), Norton Terrace – Tremont Street (20 units), Pioneer Terrace (104 units), Charter Street Housing (110 units), Philip L. Morency Manor – 45 St. Peter Street (54 units), Dalton Residence (35 units), J Michael Ruane (14 units – congregate site), Zisson Elderly Residence (14 units), and Power Block, Barton Square – 5 Washington Street (16 units).
