Project Bread FoodSource Hotline
Project Bread funds food pantries, soup kitchens and food banks all over Massachusetts. It operates the only statewide hotline for people facing hunger. Food Source Hotline counselors refer callers to food resources in their communities as well as provide information about food stamps and other nutrition programs. They will also help callers to complete the SNAP application over the phone and will work with them throughout the process to ensure they receive their benefits. Information on applying for SNAP food stamps can also be found at www.gettingsnap.org or by calling the DTA SNAP Benefits Hotline at 1-866-950-3663. Applications in English and Spanish can also be downloaded from the DTA website.
