The Automatic Medication Dispenser alarms and provides the right medications at the right time. The unit is lockable and has a carousel with 28 compartments each able to hold up to 11 caplets. Set the alarm for one, two, three, or four times per day. At the prescribed time the unit will beep for 30, 45, 60 or 250 minutes. If meds are not taken before the next dose time, the carousel will rotate denying access to those pills. This device includes 2 keys and battery back-up pack. The Automatic Medication Dispenser Plus (with telephone modem) has all the features of the basic unit plus it makes it possible for distant family members or care managers to monitor medication schedules and dispensing history.
