Glenice Sheehan Women’s Recovery Home
This is a residential program for women located on the grounds of Tewksbury Hospital. It is based on a social model of treatment that includes case management, counseling, advocacy, psycho-educational groups, HIV/AIDS prevention and education, referrals for medical and mental health services, and supported daily living within a culture of recovery. It specializes in the treatment of women over age 45. Average length of stay is 6+months. The Glenice Sheehan Women’s Program is a program of Lowell House, Inc.
