Explorers Lifelong Learning Institute of Salem State College

LLI is a member-directed learning group affiliated with the Road Scholar Institute Network (formerly Elderhostel) and local colleges and universities. Members join in active peer learning to share their knowledge and experience by creating, coordinating and participating in courses on a voluntary basis. Courses vary in content from general topics from the arts and sciences to current events and foreign affairs. The format of the courses ranges from lectures and discussions to hands-on workshops and field trips. In addition to the courses which are held Monday-Thursday, there is a “Coffee Hour” on selected Fridays with a guest lecturer.
