The Eldercare Locator, a public service of the Administration on Aging, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is a nationwide service that connects older Americans and their caregivers with information on senior services. It provides users with the information and resources they need that will help older persons live independently and safely in their homes and communities for as long as possible. Users can search by geographic location or by topic. Topics include Alzheimer’s Disease, caregiver resources, elder abuse prevention, financial assistance, food and nutrition, health insurance, healthy aging, home repair and modifications, housing options, in-home services, legal assistance, long term care, nursing home and long term care facilities, transportation and volunteerism.
