Crescent House Transitional Residence Program

This program is designed to intervene in the cycle of homelessness and institutionalization by providing an environment in which veterans can acquire skills and supports needed to function productively and independently in competitive employment and community based housing. Veterans must demonstrate the ability and interest in obtaining competitive employment and involvement in the vocational rehabilitation program at the Bedford VA and have a willingness to be a part of the community and share in the duties and responsibilities of community based living. Program features include large semiprivate rooms with furnishings included, placement at a supported work site, skilled therapeutic options, transportation to/from Bedford VA, clean and sober living, relapse prevention, and easy access to public transportation.
