Citizens’ Housing & Planning Association (CHAPA)

CHAPA is the primary statewide housing advocacy and research organization in Massachusetts. It is a non-profit agency that represents all interests in the housing field including developers, homeowners, tenants, bankers, real estate brokers, property managers and government officials. Its mission is to encourage the production and preservation of housing that is affordable to low-income families and individuals. The Mass Accessible Housing Registry is based at CHAPA. It is a free program that helps people with disabilities find accessible rental housing.
