Chelmsford Housing Authority

Chelmsford Housing Authority provides state and federal affordable housing programs for elders, people with disabilities, and low-income families. This housing authority manages the following sites: Chelmsford Arms on Smith St. (64 units), McFarlin Manor on Wilson St. (51 units – includes one 4-bedroom congregate), Delaney Terrace (51 units – includes one 4-bedroom congregate), The Richardson (16 units), North Village at Crystal Lake (50 units), the Village at Mystery Spring (36 units), Roberta McGuire Senior Residences (7 studio units), and The Choice Center (37 units).

Rent is based on 30% of income for McFarlin Manor and Chelmsford Arms and 25% + electric for Delaney Terrace. North Village, the Village at Mystery Spring, The Choice Center, and Roberta McGuire Senior Residences are low/moderate income housing developments for seniors 62 years and older. The Richardson is for those age 55 and older.
