This Chapter provides no-cost services to ALS families which include support groups, home visits, insurance counseling, referrals to community resources, durable medical equipment loan closet, education and support. In conjunction with Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, it offers a center of excellence, the Curt & Shonda Schilling ALS Clinic located in Burlington, MA that enables patients with ALS to maintain a maximum level of neurological functioning in a supportive and understanding environment.
