Asian Task Force – Lowell Asian Initiative

The Lowell Asian Initiative Against Domestic Violence is a satellite program of ATASK and was created in collaboration with the Southeast Asian Families Against Domestic Violence, a coalition of Lowell Asian leaders, community organizations, and concerned individuals. The Project is designed to serve and organize the Cambodian community around the issue of domestic violence. It integrates direct services with prevention, outreach, and community and mainstream education strategies. Services offered include crisis intervention and safety planning; advocacy for legal issues, housing, medical services and public benefits; and information and referrals to services such as emergency shelter, counseling, job training and ESL.
