Haverhill YMCA
The Haverhill YMCA’s facility provides 52 SRO (single room occupancy) units for low income qualifying candidates. Each room offers a private bathroom, bed, bureau, desk, chair, small refrigerator and microwave. Four units are handicap accessible. There are 26 units on each floor sharing a common area kitchen, coin-operated laundry facilities and lounge. Each room is pre-wired for cable and telephone. This project was funded through state and federal grants and a capital fundraising drive. The Haverhill YMCA is part of the YMCA of the North Shore (Beverly).
