This agency is licensed by DPH and provides professional mental health and substance abuse counseling to the Merrimack Valley area. The counseling staff is composed of a psychiatrist, psychologists and master level social workers and mental health professionals. Staff can assist with issues involving depression and anxiety, alcohol and substance abuse, relationship problems, stress, separation and divorce, loss, and difficulties at work/school. Family Service also offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and prevention programs. The Samaritans of Merrimack Valley is part of this agency. This agency also provides court appointed special advocates, youth mentoring and parent education.
