The West Roxbury campus of the VA Boston Healthcare System provides primary care and specialty services, including a 24-hour emergency department, surgery, physical therapy and more. The campus also hosts a nationally recognized acute Spinal Cord Injury program, and is one of the few facilities with a CARF-accredited acute rehabilitation program. The facility serves as the regional referral center for intensive inpatient surgery, including vascular surgery, specialized general and cancer-related surgery, orthopedics, hand and joint replacement surgery, plastic surgery and urology.
