Northeast Independent Living Program, Inc.

NILP is a non-proft, consumer controlled Independent Living Center providing advocacy and services to people with disabilities in the Greater Merrimack Valley who wish to live as independently as possible in the community. It provides information and referral, peer counseling, independent living skills training, options counseling, Transition to Adulthood for Youth Program, and self-advocacy training. It offers a personal care attendant program. Its Northeast Recovery Learning Community is a peer-run program for people with mental health issues. It is one of the regional sites for the Assistive Technology Loan Program run by Easter Seals of Worcester. In conjunction with AgeSpan, it provides a seamless entry point for individuals with disabilities and elders in the Merrimack Valley to obtain needed services.
