The Salvation Army offers a variety of services to individuals and families in need. Its food pantry is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:30am-11:30am for emergency food. It is a soup kitchen and provides a hot lunch 12:00-1:00pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, except Thanksgiving. Food vouchers are available in special circumstances. Through its Good Neighbor Energy Program a household may be eligible to receive a one time a year financial assistance to defray the cost of its home heating bill.
