Money Management volunteers support older adults in building essential money skills like budgeting, paying bills, and writing checks. They also provide education on how to recognize and prevent scams and fraud.

Role of the Money Management Volunteer 
Money Management volunteers help older adults stay on top of their daily finances by offering friendly, supervised in-home visits across the Merrimack Valley and North Shore. The program offers a flexible schedule and a meaningful way to build connection. Training is provided.

Program Requirements

  • Complete a volunteer application & CORI background check along with 3 references
  • Complete a volunteer training
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • General knowledge of household budgeting and daily money management
