Prescription Advantage

Prescription Advantage is a prescription drug insurance plan administered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs. It provides supplemental assistance, based on income, for its members with Medicare prescription drug coverage. PA is a secondary payer for members with Medicare prescription drug coverage. Depending on income, PA may help pay all or part of the Medicare prescription drug plan’s drug co-payments. PA will also provide an out-of-pocket spending limit. Once this limit has been reached, PA will cover drug co-payments for the remainder of the plan year. Contact PA for information on coverage for Individuals with Creditable Coverage and Individuals without Medicare.
