Our Neighbors’ Table is an organization focused on alleviating the struggles of food insecurity in our region by providing community-based access to food for all residents in the lower Merrimack Valley region. They offer a full variety of fresh groceries and community meals, free of charge, in a variety of settings.

Their Markets are open to residents of Amesbury, Boxford, Byfield, Georgetown, Groveland, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, Rowley, Salisbury, South Hampton (NH) and West Newbury. There is no income verification or requirement. If you live in one of the 12 towns in Our Neighbors’ Table’s service region and are in need of food, then you are welcome.

Our Neighbors’ Table offers hot meals at the Main St. Congregational Church on Wed from 4pm-6pm. Guests at this meal site may take home a prepared meal. It operates a weekly food pantry on Fri from 9:30am-1pm and Sat from 9:30-12pm for residents of specific area towns. Bags of nutritious food are distributed every second and fourth Wednesday from 4pm-6pm (USDA Program); sign-up is required. This agency provides emergency food, diapers and baby food to anyone in need seven days per week. When funds allow, people are given vouchers from local grocery and department stores and 2 local thrift stores. It also distributes emergency bags for those who are homeless, living in motels, or displaced due to fire, water breaks or other emergencies.

They have a mobile food pantry that goes to the Councils on Aging in Amesbury, Groveland, Merrimac, Newburyport and Salisbury. If someone in these towns need food delivery please contact the local Council on Aging/Senior Center for coordination for date and times.
