Lowell Transitional Living Center
Lowell Transitional Living Center is a dry shelter with 60 beds for homeless men and 30 beds for homeless women in the Greater Lowell area. It offers case management, representative payee services, and assistance with locating local detoxification programs. Nursing and mental health services are available onsite. It provides 3 meals per day to shelter residents and to people in the community who have low or no income. It also conducts outreach to Greater Lowell’s homeless street population and manages permanent housing for 12 chronically homeless people.
From Nov. 15 to April 15 those active with addictions are allowed entry from 8pm-10pm or after that hour by telephone referral from police dept, hospital or other treatment provider; individuals accepted on first-come first-served basis
