Pharmaceutical companies or pharmacies that make brand name or generic prescription drugs available to patients who are uninsured or underinsured or, for other reasons, cannot afford to pay the market price. Also included are organizations that help qualifying patients complete and file paperwork for submission to drug manufacturers to request such medication or which maintain lists of these types of programs for referral purposes.
This is a national clearinghouse of public and private programs that help individuals in need obtain access to free or discounted prescription medications. An individual completes an online application and PPA will match him/her with assistance programs for which they may be eligible.
Rx Outreach is a fully licensed non-profit mail-order pharmacy that provides over 600 affordable medications, generic and brand name, to people in need. It offers prescription medications to uninsured and underinsured individuals and famiilies. Prescription drugs are mailed directly to the applicant’s address. Enrollment is valid for 1 year; can re-enroll for the next year.
