Lifeline (Discounted Phone Service)
This is a federal/state program that permits eligible low income customers to receive discounted telephone service. It is available only to those who meet certain eligibility requirements. Only one lifeline service discount is available to each eligible household. You may choose either a landline or wireless service. Eligibility is based on participation in certain state or federal benefit programs or demonstration that household income is at or below certain levels depending on household size.
