Massachusetts Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program

Consumers may contact the Massachusetts Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program to inquire if complaints have been filed against any assisted living, nursing home, or rest home residence. The Ombudsman also acts as a mediator and attempts to resolve problems or conflicts that arise between a residence and one or more of its residents.

Anyone can bring a problem before the Ombudsman. The complaint may be on behalf of a specific resident or on behalf of residents as a whole.
