Volunteers needed for Ombudsman Program

We are seeking volunteers for our Long-Term Care Ombudsman team.

Our Ombudsman volunteers perform many essential duties, including being an advocate for residents and serving as a mediator between a facility and its residents.

You will enhance the quality of life of nursing and rest home residents by advocating for the residents of assigned facility. You serve as a link between residents, families, staff, and others to resolve resident complaints and concerns.

Ombudsmen receive free training to resolve issues for the resident or their legal representatives.

To learn how you can become an Ombudsman, please call our Volunteer & Intern Program Manager at 978-651-3114.
