Power Play: An Exploration of Power and Race (to Drive Social Change)

The Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol Program’s Diversity + Inclusion = Equity Project presents:

Power Play: An Exploration of Power and Race (to Drive Social Change)”

We hope you can join us for a free, online workshop on February 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. This highly interactive and unique virtual learning session will allow participants to deepen their awareness of the dynamics of power and systemic oppression and their effect on daily life. Through placing our stories within these systems, participants learn from each other and explore how privilege and structural racism are designed to produce and perpetuate unjust and inequitable outcomes for certain groups based on their identity.

Theresa L. Brewer of TLB Consulting will guide us in reflective conversations focusing on culture, race and power while exploring strategies to advance equity and social justice. This session will equip participants to work toward a more equitable society and lasting change through self and social transformations.
